The Man Behind the Ministry

A shepherd who has crossed every border

Bishop Faustin Kibukila is a man whose life itself is a testimony. Born in Goma, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, his calling took root early — first as a musician and worship leader, then as an evangelist, youth leader, and deacon — long before his ordination to the pastorate in 2002.

His ministry has never been bound by geography. From Nairobi, where he has directed Christ My Lord Ministry since 2004, to Ottawa, where he founded the Pentecostal Community Church of Ottawa/Gatineau (CEPOG) in 2007, his work has carried the Gospel across continents, cultures, and languages — a congregation and a calling that stand as a beacon of hope to all who seek it.

A lifelong scholar as much as a servant, Bishop Faustin holds a degree in health sciences from the University of Ottawa and is presently completing his doctoral studies. His conviction is simple and unwavering: that faith and the flourishing of the whole person are inseparable callings.

He is, above all, a father, a mentor, and a steadfast companion on life’s journey — an artist, an author, and a shepherd who walks beside every soul that crosses his path.

Worship & Music

Songs born from a life of praise

Before the pulpits, before the books, before the nations — there was worship. Bishop Faustin has lifted his voice in praise since his earliest days in Goma, leading choirs, composing songs, and now releasing his very first musical album. His music moves between four tongues, for the Gospel he carries has never belonged to one people or one land. From the streets of Nairobi to the sanctuary of CEPOG in Ottawa, these songs are the living soundtrack of a ministry without borders.

Your gift changes everything

Lives are being transformed. Families are being restored. Across three continents, communities are hearing the Gospel — in their own language, in their own streets, in their own homes. None of this happens without those who believe in the mission enough to invest in it. When you give, you do not give to an institution. You reach into Nairobi, into Ottawa, into every nation this calling has touched — and you say: go further.

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

2 Corinthians 9:7
